TeamHealth is helping current emergency medicine (EM) academic physicians secure leadership opportunities for a new ACGME EM residency program. We welcome the opportunity to assist with interviews for board certified academic emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) physicians with a passion for teaching to expand the development and training of incoming emergency medicine residents in July 2024. Mohawk Valley Health System Hospitals are Academic Community Hospitals with additional ACGME residencies in FM, NP, GS, DDS, and psych. TeamHealth has a dedicated staff of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, excellent EMS, lab technicians, and EKG technicians. Faxton St. Luke's is a 370-bed hospital featuring a 29-bed emergency department. Clinicians treat 41,300 patients per year. There are 36 hours of EM physician coverage and 36 hours of advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage per day. St. Elizabeth's is a 200-bed hospital featuring a 33-bed ED. Clinicians care for 41,461 patients per year. Work with the support of 36 hours of EM physician coverage and 36 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage per day. Wynn Hospital opened in October 2023, and TeamHealth will move both emergency departments into our new hospital which is a state-of-the-art academic hospital. There are 373 hospital beds, 53 ED beds with ED exam, quick turn, trauma unit, 8 pediatric beds, 10 observation beds, medical imaging room, CAT scan, and will support 90,000 ED visits per year. Mohawk Valley Health System is a non-profit health system providing services to residents of the Mohawk Valley in Central New York. -St. Luke's Campus- 379-bed hospital with a 29-bed emergency department (ED) Level III trauma center, annual ED patient volume of 41,000, and designated stroke center with 24-hour interventional radiology Emergency Department staffed daily with 36 hours of physician coverage and 20-30 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage. -St. Elizabeth Medical Center -200 bed Hospital, 33 Bed ED, Level III Adult Trauma Center, Cardiac Center, with annual ED patient volume of 41,000, and High Acuity.
