TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity to join our team at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan. We are actively seeking an anesthesiology physician to add to our team. In this role enjoy a $150,000 sign-on bonus and 10 weeks of paid time off!     Covenant Medical Center 519-bed facility serving as a critical access hospital for seven community hospitals in Michigan's thumb and central region. The facility offers a broad spectrum of care services including obstetrics, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, acute-care, cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and much more. The facility features a Level III regional neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital is recognized as one of the premier healthcare facilities in the area. Covenant Medical Center - Harrison houses 9 operating rooms. You will have the opportunity to choose the type of cases you enjoy, which include general surgery, plastics and urology. Obstetrics sees over 3,200 deliveries and VBAC's. The majority of pediatric cases are healthy pediatrics and make up about 25% of cases at the hospital. TeamHealth physicians are eager to mentor you in all areas you require additional education. This group practices in a collegial environment.

    Saginaw, Michigan, offers a quiet suburban lifestyle with easy access to the excitement of big cities such as Chicago or Toronto, or the cultural offerings of northern Michigan's many wineries. Saginaw is located in the area known as Mid-Michigan or Central Michigan with downtown just off the Saginaw River. Multiple sites in this area are on the National Register of Historic Places, such as the French-style Castle Museum of Saginaw County History. Saginaw includes the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square, as well as many top-rated restaurants and tourist activities. Saginaw blends metropolitan convenience with small town flavor. The Riverfront provides almost constant relaxation opportunities year-round whether cruising up and down the river on a warm summer day, fishing from the banks or the new pier near Court Street, strolling along the Saginaw Riverwalk, watching fireworks over Ojibway Island, or ice fishing in the Annual Shiver on the River. Saginaw is located 1 hour and 45 minutes from Detroit.
