OVERVIEW The Business Analyst; Lean Six Sigma certified will
work with the Strategic Initiatives team to help identify, prioritize, and launch/execute key initiatives to advance quality of care, improve operational efficiency, and elevate provider satisfaction through the use of Lean Six Sigma and Data Analytics methodologies. The Business Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to lead discovery and process improvement efforts, across the organization, to achieve significant impact on key organizational metrics.
This position is remote. However, there is travel two (2) times per month to the corporate office in Knoxville TN. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Manage initiatives from original concept through final Discovery. Responsible for identifying gaps/business needs, root causes of problems, effective solutions, and metrics to measure success
- Follow Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC and DMADV) methodology to develop robust project plans, and design/implement key processes to help the organization achieve its goals
- Facilitate VOC activities, including brainstorming, benchmarking and focus groups, to identify/analyze customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions
- Lead business process analyses and redesign activities to evaluate current state, identify inefficiencies and develop future/ideal state
- Analyze operational/financial data and provide data-driven insights to inform and develop strategies for process improvement and future business initiatives
- Measure post-release project performance, using appropriate tools and techniques, to monitor and verify the project success. Identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders
- Manage customer expectations and provide regular project updates to senior leaders, through project gate reviews
- Support and partner with Project Managers and Data Analysts through the different project phases and gate reviews
- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members, on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and standards across the organization
- Handle other duties, meetings and projects as assigned by management
