Role Overview:- As a collaborating physician, you will play a vital role in our post-acute care practice by providing oversight and consultation to our nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA)
- Establish collaborative agreements: formalize partnerships with NPs and PAs
- Facilitate regular communication: conduct monthly group video meetings to discuss clinical matters
- Offer expert guidance: provide clinical oversight and consultation on complex cases
- Chart review: complete a monthly chart review, per state requirements, typically 10%
Requirements:- Medical degree: MD or DO with an active medical license in Missouri
- Psychiatric expertise: board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
- Collaborative experience: proven ability to work effectively with NPs and PAs in a collaborative setting
- Interdisciplinary teamwork: strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborating with healthcare professionals from various disciplines
- Ethical standards: adherence to ethical principles and best practices in clinical care
- Missouri residency: must be a resident of Missouri
