TeamHealth is seeking a qualified emergency department physician to join our team at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky. We have an excellent opportunity in our ED with an annual volume of 23,500 patients and an 11% admission rate. Taylor Regional Hospital Taylor Regional Hospital is verified by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and is also one of sixteen designated trauma centers and one of four Level III trauma centers in the state of Kentucky. ED Physician shift times are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM and there are 12 hours of advanced practice clinician hours daily as well. This is a 23,533 annual volume ED with an 11% admission rate. Enjoy 12 hours of daily APC coverage and 2.1 average patients per hour. The EMR is Meditech.

 

Campbellsville- the ideal place to live and raise a family! Campbellsville is the county seat of Taylor County, Kentucky, and home to Campbellsville University. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population within the city limits of 9,108. The city was founded in 1817 and laid out by Andrew Campbell, who had moved there from Augusta County, Virginia. Campbell owned a gristmill and a tavern and began selling lots in Campbellsville in 1814. Campbellsville has several historic sites listed under Taylor County in the National Register of Historic Places listings in Kentucky. The Campbellsville Historic Commercial District includes several blocks of Main Street, with the most notable structure being Merchant Tower (formally Merchants Hotel), which has Romanesque architecture and is listed individually on the National Register of Historical Places. Downtown Campbellsville includes a Main Street and the designated historic district. The 100 and 200 blocks of Main Street are lined with century old brick, stone, and iron buildings with Italianate architecture facades. Since 2008, Campbellsville has been undergoing revitalization, and the city is regionally known for its Fourth of July celebration.
