Serving the Logan county region for nearly 100 years, Mary Rutan Hospital is an 80-bed facility recognized nationally for its clinical excellence and patient care. Providing a wide range of care services, Mary Rutan Hospital is most known for its cardiac care, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, pediatrics and emergency care services. In addition to offering world-class care, Mary Rutan Hospital is one of the largest charitable institutions in the region providing free care for thousands of patients in addition to classes, support groups, a Medical Scholarship and Loan Program and a Community Health and Wellness Grant Program focused on mental health, nutrition and physical activity.

Bellefontaine, Ohio, is located in Logan County in the northwestern portion of the state. The name of the town means "beautiful spring" as there are several lively springs in the area. The town is approximately a one hour drive from the bustling cities of Columbus and Dayton. Bellefontaine is a central connecting stop among Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Dayton.
