Fisher-Titus Medical Center serves Norwalk, Huron County and the region with the latest medical advancements providing the area's 70,000-plus residents a full continuum of care, including a 99-bed acute care hospital; a 69-bed skilled nursing facility; a 48-unit assisted living facility; a Home Health Center; and outpatient services. The Medical Center is known for its high quality patient care having received numerous recognitions including the HealthGrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award and Leapfrog's "A" Hospital Safety Score for three consecutive years, Total Benchmark Solutions Top 100 Award. In 2010 Fisher-Titus became the nation's first all-digital "smart" community hospital after implementing a fully integrated electronic health record system and interactive technology in patient rooms powered by Cerner Corporation. The Medical Center earned designation as one of the nation's Most Wired Hospitals for three years in a row. As a non-profit community hospital, we are committed to offering patients the most advanced technology and medical treatment possible, while providing the highest level of personal care. Some 8,000 residents turn to us each month for inpatient, outpatient and emergency medical procedures.

The City of Norwalk is located one hour west of Cleveland, one hour east of Toledo, two hours north of Columbus, and two hours southeast of Detroit, Michigan. Norwalk's location is an asset for business growth and distribution, but its real strength is that its strong work force and families make this a strong community.
