Assistant facility medical director (AFMD) assists facility medical director (FMD) and is responsible for results-oriented, strategic leadership to ensure the clinical performance of the emergency department (ED). The AFMD assists in providing daily oversight for the ED clinicians within the practice operations area. You will ensure client hospital expectations are met and TeamHealth is adhering to contractual obligations for ED staffing, foster a collaborative relationship with FMD, regional medical director, vice president of operations, and Mary Rutan Hospital nursing and administrative leadership teams.
