The ideal candidate must be board certified in emergency medicine (EM) or family medicine (FM), with prior leadership experience, and have effective and outstanding leadership skills. This leadership opportunity will report directly to the regional medical director and vice president of operations and will be responsible for the oversight of full-time physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Aspirus Riverview Hospital is located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Aspirus Riverview Hospital is a 10-bed emergency department seeing 20,000 patients annually with 24 hours physician and 22 hours advance practice clinician coverage. Aspirus is a level III trauma center. As facility medical director (FMD), you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships, impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote evidence-based practice, and patient satisfaction, and improving value-based healthcare delivery.
