Job Description

TeamHealth has an opportunity for a physician assistant to join our emergency department team full-time at Abrazo Central Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. This 55,000-annual-volume emergency department has 26 beds and has access to great specialty back-up including cath lab, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, OB/Gyn, orthopedics, and pediatrics. The ED staff has a great relationship and works well as a team. The selected provider will have ED experience and current life support certifications and feel comfortable working in a busy ED setting with moderate supervision.

The certification affirms that Abrazo Central addresses the full spectrum of cerebrovascular diseases � diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education � and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes. It is based on standards created by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, and granted by DNV GL Healthcare, a certification body operating in more than 100 countries. Abrazo Central also is home to the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency Program, which has trained primary care physicians for more than 40 years.
