We are seeking a nocturnist physician with an opportunity that is also open to clinicians interested in other shift times. We have an opportunity for a physician to join our emergency medicine (EM) team at Penn State Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. The emergency department (ED) cares for about 45,000 patients annually, with physicians seeing about 2 patients per hour. TeamHealth provides 36-40 hours/day of physician and 28 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily. Penn State Health merged with SJMC in 2016 and is focused on providing measurably better quality care and having the top patient experience.
