Located in north-central Oklahoma, Stillwater is at the intersection of US-177 and State Highway 51 and is the county seat of Payne County. Stillwater is the principal city of the Stillwater Micropolitan Statistical Area which had a population of 78,399 according to the 2012 census estimate. With a diverse economy founded in aerospace, agri-business, biotechnology, optoelectronics, printing and publishing, and software and standard manufacturing, Stillwater makes a wonderful place to live. Stillwater is home to Oklahoma State University, a branch of Northern Oklahoma College, Meridian Technology Center, and the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
