Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando in downtown Orlando Florida. Located in the city center of Orlando, this 1200-bed hospital receives the most system-wide transports throughout the Central AdventHealth metro system. The 42-bed Emergency Department sees 98,000 patients annually and the physicians use EPIC. With multiple overlapping physician and APC shifts, the coverage varies from 70-80 hours of physician coverage daily with a combination of 8,9, and 10-hour shifts. Physicians average 2.3 patients per hour and the admission rate is 34%. All subspecialties are represented at this hospital, and there is a dedicated Pediatric ED also staffed by TeamHealth. Requirements are board certified/prepared through ABEM/AOBEM. Strongly preferred fellowship training.
