Job Description

TeamHealth has a new facility medical director opening at Del Sol Medical Center with our hospital medicine program in El Paso, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists that are all local to El Paso. Our physicians will work alongside 2nd and 3rd year IM residents and also have the opportunity for non-clinical GEM hours i.e. lectures, didactics, etc. The director will work 120 clinical hours per month working a combination of days and a few nights, as needed.

    Since 1974, 350-bed Del Sol Medical Center has provided quality healthcare to El Paso and the surrounding region. As the only full-service, acute care hospital in East El Paso with a Level II trauma designation in emergency services, Del Sol Medical Center continues to expand its services to meet the growing needs of the tristate community, providing special expertise in cardiology, maternity and child services, a Level III NICU, a Center of Excellence designation for our bariatric clinic and minimally invasive surgery center, and a newly renovated 32-bed rehabilitation hospital.
