Qualifications:- M.D. or D.O. with board certification in general surgery
- 5+ years of practice experience and leadership in a group setting
- Expertise in evidence-based medicine, quality improvement, clinical technology, and medical informatics
- Strong strategic planning skills, with a proven track record in engaging stakeholders to achieve shared goals
- Familiarity with healthcare trends, issues related to hospital trauma designation and other surgical challenges facing hospitals
- A self-motivated leader with the ability to inspire a team, achieve results, and effectively represent the organization in both formal and informal settings
- Superb communication and listening skills, capable of expressing ideas clearly and confidently
