Job Description

Are you an experienced primary care nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) who aims to make a difference in the lives of your patients by providing quality care? TeamHealth needs someone like you! TeamHealth is hiring a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to work in a skilled nursing facility environment in the Seattle area rounding on patients 5 days per week. This job includes the flexibility to set your own schedule, autonomy over your practice, uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to build a position that matches your ideal lifestyle and career goals. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Perform primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting for short term and long-term patients
  • Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
  • Order and interpret lab results
  • Prescribe and monitor medications
  • Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related

Requirements: 
  • 1 or more years of experience in primary care
  • Post-acute care experience a plus but not required
  • Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the state of Washington
  • Active and unrestricted DEA for the state of Washington
Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential.
