TeamHealth has an opportunity for an OB/Gyn physician to join our OBGYN hospitalist team full-time at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. In this role you will be providing 7-8 (24-hour, in-house) shifts/month. We ask that you be comfortable working with and supporting certified nurse midwives. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified OB/Gyn physician (MD or DO) who demonstrates clinical excellence, superior communication skills, and a focus on providing quality care and placing the patient above all other considerations. Current skills required along with a current or in-process New Jersey license to practice. Other requirements include a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization, insurability for professional liability insurance, at least 3 years of active practice, and a successful track record.
