If you're looking for an inspiring job, you've come to the right place! St. David's Children's Hospital, in Austin, Texas, is seeking a passionate, full-time pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to help make a difference and deliver excellent patient care. A Level IV Trauma Center, St. David's Children's Center is a separate dedicated 370-bed hospital with a ten-bed emergency department, eight-bed medical surgical inpatient unit and a six-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). It provides patients with a wide array of pediatric services and specialties. 
  • Approximately 25k volume ED
  • Less than 2 patients per clinical hour
  • Experienced APC coverage
  • Double and triple boarded pediatric emergency medicine physicians
  • Child life and other professionals specifically trained in pediatrics
  • ABEM, ABOEM or ABP w/PEM fellowship certified or eligible 
  • TX medical license or in the process of obtaining one

    St. David's Children's Hospital

    St. David's Children's Hospital is a dedicated pediatric care facility that includes a 10-bed emergency department, 8-bed medical surgical inpatient unit and 6-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The facility offers a wide array of pediatric services, including pediatric surgery, radiology, anesthesia as well as consult and treatment for cardiology, orthopedics, neurology and urology. The children's hospital is part of St. David's HealthCare, one of the largest health systems in Texas, which includes seven of the area's leading hospitals. The organization has received the coveted Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award and is the third-largest private employer in the Austin area.
