TeamHealth has excellent opportunities for pediatric emergency (PEM) physicians who would like to live wherever they like, be very well compensated, receive up to $150,000 to pay down their student loans, and enjoy some of the best scheduling options around, all while while working where needed at TeamHealth pediatric emergency departments in the Southeast as part of our elite special operations travel team. Our PEM special operations physicians will travel to work blocks of shifts at select TeamHealth pediatric emergency departments in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas. Physicians work an average of 120 hours per month in a flexible blocked schedule, with blocked time off.We ask that you be fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible in pediatric emergency medicine. TeamHealth will obtain any additional licenses and DEAs for the designated states if needed. The ideal candidates for these positions must be adaptive, possess excellent communication skills, have a team player attitude and flexibility to travel is a must. Special operations team members are credentialed at multiple emergency medicine client sites within a specified region and serve as clinical "top guns" for our clients. A special ops team member must be adaptive and possess excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the ability to travel are a must.
