Job Description

As a TeamHealth post-acute care physician you will be a part of an integrated care team providing primary care services in post-acute care facilities including skilled nursing and assisted living. Our patient population includes long-term care, short-term rehab, memory care, and clinically complex patients and residents. TeamHealth will help you develop a collaborative team approach between the facilities clinical team, supervising physician in the market, and additional service providers in wound care, behavioral health, or infectious disease specialist both locally and nationally. TeamHealth is the largest post-acute care provider in the nation, with resources to support you grow a strong practice and give your flexibility in your work life balance. If you have a background in providing primary care in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, physiatry, PM&R or geriatrics this could be a great fit for you. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours. We have an overnight call service provided 7pm to 7am by our nurse practitioner and physician assistant call team. Clinicians rotate backup call to the call team for occasional escalation needs in the local market and weekend day call. Our compensation is a productivity based model with a base salary for full time providers that offers autonomy and control to maximize your income potential. All clinicians receive unlimited clinical education support specific to post-acute care both in-person and through various virtual platforms that allow you to receive CEUs, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and professional liability insurance with tail.
