Job Description

Want to practice inpatient medicine from the comfort of your own home? If so, TeamHealth has a great telemedicine opportunity for a full-time, board certified internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) clinician with a North Carolina medical license to provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System in western North Carolina. The working hours are 7pm - 7am. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years hospitalist experience.  Responsibilities: 
  • Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
  • Entering admission orders
  • Prescribing medications
  • Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
  • Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site
