TeamHealth has a new hospitalist opening at Del Sol Medical Center with our hospital medicine program in El Paso, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists that are all local to El Paso. Our physicians will work alongside 2nd and 3rd year internal medicine residents on a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. Del Sol Medical Center had 379 licensed beds with a level 2 trauma emergency department staffed by only board certified internal medicine physicians. There is a GME program associated with this program, so physicians will need to have a comfort level rounding with internal medicine residents.

Del Sol Medical Center

Since 1974, 350-bed Del Sol Medical Center has provided quality healthcare to El Paso and the surrounding region. As the only full-service, acute care hospital in East El Paso with a Level II Trauma designation in Emergency Services, Del Sol Medical Center continues to expand its services to meet the growing needs of the tristate community, providing special expertise in Cardiology, Maternity & Child Services, a Level III NICU, a Center of Excellence designation for our Bariatric Clinic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, and a newly renovated 32-bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
