We are actively interviewing experienced emergency medicine (EM) family nurse practitioners (FNP) or physician assistants (PA) to join our team full-time at Banner Payson Medical Center in Payson, Arizona as a lead advanced practice clinician. About the Role:- 10-bed ED facility with 15,000 annual volumes
- Advanced practice provider (APP) and specialty coverage
- Level IV facility with 10% admittance and 6% transfer rate
- EMR: Cerner with dragon
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department under the supervision of ED physicians
- Oversee clinical care, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate treatment
- Lead and collaborate with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
- Potentially take on some leadership and supervisory duties (prior leadership experience is not mandatory, it is ideal)
- Work with an experienced, cohesive team to manage the EDs annual case load
Required Qualifications:- Two years of post-graduate experience as a PA or FNP in emergency medicine
- Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff, patients, and families
