TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our Hospitalist team at St. Francis Hospital, in Columbus, Georgia. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family medicine with Hospital Medicine experience to apply. This position requires fifteen 12-hour shifts per month and physicians at this program average 18 patients per day. No procedures and no codes are required.

Community-focused care Founded in 1950, St. Francis Hospital provides residents of Columbus and the surrounding region with a full range of inpatient and outpatient services at its 376-bed facility, which includes the St. Francis Heart Hospital and the Sue Marie Turner Women's Hospital and its physician practices. It is home to the only open heart surgery program in the area.

It is only 90 minutes south of Atlanta, 4 hours from Savannah and a short drive to the beautiful, white sand beaches of the Florida panhandle. Columbus has a strong public and private school system. With a population of about 200,000, Columbus is home to many museums, including the National Civil War Naval Museum and Coca-Cola Space Science Museum. Take a stroll along the lovely pedestrian trail that winds through the city! Columbus has a humid subtropical climate with daytime summer temperatures often reaching highs in the mid-90s and low temperatures in the winter average in the upper 30s.
