Ready to use your emergency medicine (EM) skills with an established team in the Los Angeles, California, area? TeamHealth is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to work full-time at UCLA West Valley Medical Center.
Requirements for NP candidates:- Completion of master's/post-master's degree in an accredited NP program that includes training in emergency medicine (EM) or comparable training and/or acceptable supervised experience and current competence in the ED procedures for which privileges are sought
- Current CA state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- 2 years of EM experience working independently preferred
- Must be certified to see all ages
Requirements for PA candidates:- Graduation from an accredited PA program, current California State physician assistant license (or ability to obtain), and NCCPA board certification
- Current competence in ED procedures for which privileges are sought and 2 years EM experience preferred
- Must be certified to see all ages
- ACLS, PALS
- Unrestricted DEA license prior to start
